We have built and auditioned our first Tentlabs CD Player. This is a truly high end CD Player available as a DIY kit or ready built. It uses top quality components bought together by Guido Tent well known for high quality audio modules most famous of which is the ultra low jitter masterclocks. Ingredients include the Phillips CD-Pro mechanism, dual R-2R DAC’s operated without oversampling or upsampling, Valve audio output stage fed from a valve rectified power supply and many low noise shunt regulators.

The DIY kit comes with clear & detailed assembly instuctions. Mostly it is bolt together but there is a small amount of soldering needed. If you have built electronic kits before this one should not be a problem. You can download the assembly manual here (warning its a large file):- CD Assembly
